We have had a very nice and relaxing day. It is weird just having two kids at home. Kayla has been at EFY all week and so it has just been Meg and Chandler. Chandler has been hanging with his Dad some, working and Meg and I have been swimming and doing a little shopping.
On a totally different note, the Williams sisters will be playing each other in the finals at Wimb. Can't wait to watch that. How about the Bachelorette on Monday? I am pretty torn on who she should choose. I NEVER would have thought I would like Jesse. I thought he would have gone the first night....but he has really proven to be a great guy! And actually, the past show or two, I have even thought he was attractive. He really looks nice in the preview of the finale, all dressed up. Jason is nice and seems to have his act together. I am sure there are MANY things that happen that we don't see. I think that one of them will already have a clue that they are not being picked BECAUSE DeAnna really seems to be very sensitive about not leading anyone on and I don't think she would make them believe they are being chosen if they weren't...not like most shows in the past. This season has totally been my favorite EVER. I had pretty much stopped watching the show for the past few seasons because it seemed to me that the guys were not that great of a catch and the girls were mostly skanks. DeAnna has been so honest and genuine. I think I like the Bachelorette shows much better than the Bachelor shows. It will be interesting to see who she picks Monday night. She did say she was in love AND engaged! Who do you think she should pick?

I read this too late! but it was a toss up for me. I have to admit I didn't rule Jesse out but thought Jason had a better chance. After seeing the finale I can see that wow they are totally in love. I too have lOVED this season more than any other and couldn't wait for each new episode. Like you i was surprised that Jesse made it so far but can see now why he did. He's a great guy.
They made it really seem like it was a close race, but like you said, there were probably a lot of things edited out to make it look that way. I loved Jesse from the beginning, since I married a snowboarder and I understand that passion for the mountain sports! I love that there were 20 something guys, all tall, dark and handsome, and rich, and she picked the guy her same height, who was from a humble family. And her dad didn't even really like Jesse! I was so happy with it! Anyway, you can tell I like this show.. I really should have blogged about it. I was so happy. I think Jason was a little fake and SO over the top. But I don't really like cheesy romantic stuff....
Anyway.. Glad you had a good 4th.
