Today was Stake Conference. Jody and Kelly are here for the week and got to see Elder Medley. When the mish Prez. was talking to Kenny this weekend he was telling him (Kenny) all kinds of awesome things about Elder Medley and what a wonderful missionary he is. A missionary couple that helps with transfers and I were talking at conference and I was telling them that we lost Elder Michaelis to another ward and she said "Yeah but you got Elder Medley and he is a sweetheart"... she went on to say that he is always helping out and that you could tell "his momma raised him right".... I printed out the comments you guys left about his pic and gave it to him. I had a thought before giving it to him that it might make him homesick but he assured me that it was not the case and he absolutely LOVED reading the comments.

ONCE AGAIN he looks so old!! I love this picture. And I love how Rylee is not interested at all. She just gets dragged along for the ride. Thanks for keeping such good track of Gideon for us, Jen! I was just asking Elder Medley for your email so I could send pics there. He and the other elders were over at our house yesterday for there pday playing vball and soccer and they are coming to dinner tonight. He said he got the picture from conference from you guys. He's a great kid. I will send any other pics to your email.
My mom just sent your paragraph from your post out to all of our friends. I think she likes the part about "his momma raised him right"!

What a small world!! Gideon is such a cute boy and I'm sure he's a great missionary. Hope you are having a great time with Ammon, Cohen and Rylee- I saw them a week ago and it seems like months!! I hate that they moved away from us.
