It was so nice to have a long weekend. Kenny was pretty much busy and gone all weekend but the kids and I got to relax (except for the several hours I spent at the mall with Hayli shopping. Fun..but not relaxing). We picked up my niece Allie for the weekend; her and Kayla are like two peas in a pod. My family came over Monday morning to hang out and through out the day it was shifts of people, as usual. It is always so nice to have my parents down to hang out. It is so enjoyable! We love it. All the teens decided that the party was at our house on Labor Day and at about 4:00 pm the real entertainment began. It is so fun when these young people get together because they are so hilarious! I took some really great pictures, few of which I am going to post today. They are such good kids and really enjoy being together. What I love the most is they never leave anyone out. My younger kids were swimming and so where my neighbors' little kids and what ever they were doing, they included them. Not in a annoyed way or like they had to, they just did it automatically. I think it is because most of these kids come from large families and have either young siblings or much older siblings with little kids. And did I say they are GOOD kids! I am glad these are the kind of people my girls are friends with (and there are actually one or two Hayli wants to date). They stayed probably much later than their parents would have liked for a school night but I think it was a fun day. I know Kenny and I played volleyball with them for about an hour and we were exhausted by about 9:30pm...we're getting old!
I am having a hard time uploading my photos, for some reason. They are so cute. I will have to try again later.
The girls all had volleyball games last night. Megan and Kayla's team won all of their matches. I think they have won against every school they have played but one. Hayli's team won all of their matches (they played two different schools). They are also doing incredible this year! They are a brand new school where there is no senior class (Hayli's junior class will be the first graduating class). They are a very solid varsity team, with a lot of talent. Tomorrow is two BIG games. Hayli's team is playing her old high school where half of her team mates, Hayli included, played last year. Obviously, a big rival! And if that is not enough, they are also playing the team that their current coach coached previously for years before coming to head up Hayli's varsity team! So, the girls want to win against one school for themselves and the other school for their coach. It is going to be super intense but exciting. I will definitely post (hopefully with pictures) about it.
P.S. GO JANELLE!!!

You write all that and yet I comment on your "ps". YES!!!! I loved last nights episode. Although, originally, I wanted Erica to go home. I was thrilled the way it played out. Janelle is a great player and I love the way she stood up for herself and figured Will and Boogie out. I think she's been suspicious for a while but Will was getting the best of her. I do like Will, hate Boogie....but it couldn't have turned out any better. I hope Janelle wins! Oh, and don't you think Howie has possibly a mental problem?
Yes and yes! I agree totally. I had lost a lot of respect for Janelle in the game because she was being influenced by the evil doctor. But isn't it funny how it all changed in about 5 minutes.(air time, that is!) I do hope Janelle wins! And didn't Boogie have a total change of attitude when his partner in crime was evicted. He is scared too death because he doesn't know how to play this game without Will. And absolutley, Howie has lost his mind! I loved Howie, but he is now just plain out CRAZY!
I agree with both of you. I hope Janelle can stick it out. I was worried because she lost the first competition. Hopefully Erika is being truthful. Boogie is an idiot. Why would he jump down? He really thinks he's that safe? Goes to show he's only lasted this long because of Will, who I was sad to see go but definitely the best choice for Janelle. Tonight should be interesting. Great post Jen. I look forward to seeing the pics.
Yep..Boogie's an idiot.I think he is trying reverse physcology on them, thinking maybe he will confuse them in to thinking he is not an idiot! I guess he won't get to have his cake and eat it too.
Oh, and poor George...so much for the Jedi alliance?!
I finally am getting caught up on my blog reading after my vacation! I cannot believe Hayli was in a car accident. I'm so glad they are okay. Crazy!
Your pool parties look like fun! Glad to hear Chandler's foot is better. A little odd though, after the doctor saying it hadn't healed at all.
I don't watch Big Brother, so I can't comment on that! It's probably the only reality show I haven't gotten hooked on...
